I would like to invite you to join my church and I during this time of being home bound due to the global pandemic to journey with us in the Gospel of John. Beginning today, March 23, 2020, we will read a chapter of the Gospel of John every day, which will take us all the way to Easter Sunday.
John was one of the closest disciples of Jesus, and wrote this Gospel to reveal the truth of who Jesus is so that we can know the way to God and have the fullness of life we are intended to have. Let’s not allow this global crisis to distract us from the promises of Lent and Easter Sunday. We are suffering right now, even as Jesus suffered. And yet His resurrection is a foretelling of a new kingdom where there will be “no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:4).
